Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
MYO5C, or Myosin Va, is a member of the myosin family of proteins that play critical roles in intracellular transport and cellular dynamics. This unconventional myosin is primarily involved in the transportation of organelles, such as melanosomes, and is essential for various cellular functions, including cell motility and neuronal signaling. Mutations in the MYO5C gene have been implicated in a range of conditions, including pigmentation disorders and certain neurological diseases. Understanding the structure and function of MYO5C is crucial for unraveling its role in these pathophysiological processes. Recent research has focused on the recombinant expression of MYO5C to elucidate its mechanistic properties, interactions with other proteins, and potential therapeutic applications. By producing and purifying MYO5C recombinant protein, researchers aim to investigate its ATPase activity, motor function, and the effects of specific mutations on its activity. This research could provide valuable insights into the molecular mechanisms underlying diseases associated with MYO5C dysfunction and pave the way for developing targeted treatments. As such, the study of MYO5C recombinant protein not only enhances our understanding of fundamental cellular processes but also has significant implications for medical science and therapeutic development.
