Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
ORC1 (Origin Recognition Complex 1) is a crucial protein involved in the initiation of DNA replication in eukaryotic cells. It is a component of the Origin Recognition Complex (ORC), which is essential for the formation of replication origins and plays a pivotal role in the regulation of the cell cycle. Research has shown that ORC1 not only facilitates the loading of DNA helicases onto replication origins but also participates in many cellular processes, such as chromatin remodeling and transcriptional regulation. Dysregulation or mutations in ORC1 have been linked to various diseases, including cancer, highlighting its importance in maintaining genomic stability. Studies involving recombinant ORC1 protein aim to elucidate its structural and functional properties, enabling a deeper understanding of its role in DNA replication and associated cellular mechanisms. By utilizing techniques such as protein expression, purification, and biochemical assays, researchers are investigating how ORC1 interacts with other components of the ORC and regulates the replication process. This knowledge is critical for developing potential therapeutic strategies targeting ORC1 dysregulation in cancer and other diseases, making the study of recombinant ORC1 protein a significant focus in molecular biology and cancer research.
