稳定性测试
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
保存条件 & 期限
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
运输条件
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
ABCG4, a member of the ATP-binding cassette (ABC) transporter family, is implicated in various physiological processes, particularly in the transport of lipids and sterols across cellular membranes. This protein is predominantly expressed in the brain and testis, areas critical for lipid homeostasis and reproductive function. Research indicates that ABCG4 may play a significant role in regulating cholesterol levels in the central nervous system, affecting neuronal function and development. Mutations or dysregulation of ABCG4 have been associated with several neurodegenerative diseases and metabolic disorders, highlighting its potential as a biomarker for disease progression and a target for therapeutic intervention. Given its involvement in lipid transport, ongoing studies aim to elucidate the precise mechanisms by which ABCG4 influences cellular processes and its impact on overall health. The recombinant expression of ABCG4 in various model systems has facilitated its functional characterization, aiding researchers in understanding its role in disease and its potential utility in drug delivery systems. Overall, the exploration of ABCG4 and its functions is pivotal for advancing our knowledge of lipid metabolism and developing strategies to combat related health issues.
