Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
MAGEC2 (Melanoma Antigen Gene Family C2) is a member of the MAGE gene family, which is predominantly expressed in germ cells and various tumors, making it an intriguing target in cancer immunotherapy. Research has identified MAGEC2 as relevant in processes such as tumorigenesis, immune evasion, and cancer progression. Due to its restricted expression pattern, MAGEC2 holds potential as a specific target for developing therapeutic vaccines and engineered T-cell therapies, aiming to elicit robust immune responses against cancer cells while sparing healthy tissues. Recent studies have focused on the structural and functional characterization of MAGEC2, elucidating its role in modulating immune responses and its interactions with other proteins within the tumor microenvironment. Investigating the mechanisms of MAGEC2 expression and its potential role in T-cell activation is crucial for exploring its application in personalized medicine, particularly in developing targeted therapies for malignancies that express this antigen. The advancements in recombinant protein technology have enabled the production of MAGEC2 for further studies, facilitating the development of innovative strategies that harness the immune system for cancer treatment. As research progresses, MAGEC2 has emerged not only as a promising biomarker for diagnosis and prognosis but also as a pivotal player in the evolution of cancer immunotherapeutics, highlighting its significance in ongoing cancer research efforts.
