  • Stability Test

The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.

  • Storage & Shelf Life

Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

  • Shipping

In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description

TMEM1 is a transmembrane protein that has garnered attention in recent years due to its potential roles in various cellular processes, including cancer progression and cell signaling. Research has indicated that TMEM1 is implicated in the regulation of membrane dynamics and may influence the endosomal-lysosomal pathway, which is crucial for cellular homeostasis and response to external stimuli. The recombinant expression of TMEM1 allows scientists to study its structure and function in detail, facilitating investigations into its interaction with other proteins and its involvement in disease mechanisms. Understanding the molecular characteristics of TMEM1 can provide insights into its biological significance and its potential as a therapeutic target. The development of recombinant TMEM1 also aids in high-throughput screening efforts, enabling researchers to identify small molecules that can modulate its activity. Overall, the study of TMEM1 through recombinant protein technology represents a critical step in elucidating its physiological roles and its potential implications in treating conditions associated with its dysregulation.
