  • Stability Test

The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.

  • Storage & Shelf Life

Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

  • Shipping

In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description

MATK (Morningside Ataxia-Tastic Kinase) is a crucial enzyme belonging to the serine/threonine kinase family, playing significant roles in various biological processes, including cell growth, differentiation, and signaling pathways. The interest in MATK-derived recombinant proteins has surged in recent years due to the increasing awareness of its potential implications in disease mechanisms, particularly in cancers and neurodegenerative disorders. Understanding its structure and function can unveil new therapeutic targets and strategies. Advances in recombinant DNA technology have enabled the production of MATK proteins in various expression systems, facilitating detailed biochemical characterization and functional studies. By exploring the enzymatic activity, substrate specificity, and regulatory mechanisms of MATK, researchers aim to elucidate its role in cellular signaling networks. This research not only enhances our comprehension of MATK's physiological relevance but also opens avenues for developing MATK-targeted therapies, contributing to innovative approaches in treating related pathologies. Furthermore, the collaborative efforts among molecular biologists, biochemists, and pharmacologists in this field reflect a multidisciplinary approach to address the challenges associated with translating basic research findings into clinical applications. As a result, MATK recombinant proteins represent a promising avenue for both fundamental research and therapeutic exploitation, mirroring a broader trend in the life sciences aimed at leveraging proteins for disease intervention.
