稳定性测试
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
保存条件 & 期限
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
运输条件
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
ALKBH5 is a member of the ALKBG (alkB homolog) family and plays a crucial role in the regulation of RNA methylation, particularly the demethylation of N6-methyladenosine (m6A) residues on RNA molecules. This modification is increasingly recognized for its significant role in various cellular processes, including RNA metabolism, gene expression, and cellular responses to environmental changes. The study of ALKBH5 has gained momentum due to its implications in numerous physiological and pathological contexts, including embryonic development, differentiation, and cancer biology. Dysregulation of ALKBH5 has been associated with several malignancies, highlighting its potential as a therapeutic target. The recombinant expression and purification of ALKBH5 protein facilitate detailed biochemical studies, allowing researchers to elucidate its enzymatic mechanisms, substrate specificity, and interactions with other cellular factors. These studies are essential for understanding how ALKBH5 influences m6A methylation and contributes to the broader landscape of epitranscriptomics, where RNA modifications dynamically regulate gene expression and cellular function. Consequently, characterizing ALKBH5 as a recombinant protein lays the groundwork for novel therapeutic approaches and biomarker development in cancer and other diseases associated with m6A dysregulation.
