Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
Oxidized low-density lipoprotein (OxLDL) has garnered significant attention in cardiovascular research due to its critical role in atherogenesis, the process leading to the development of atherosclerosis. Unlike native LDL, which is essential for normal cholesterol transport and metabolism, OxLDL is implicated in various pathological conditions. It is produced through the oxidative modification of LDL particles, often triggered by oxidative stress, inflammatory responses, and lipid peroxidation. OxLDL participates in numerous cellular processes, including endothelial dysfunction, foam cell formation, and the instigation of inflammatory pathways, which collectively contribute to plaque development in arterial walls. Research on OxLDL encompasses its effects on vascular biology, immune responses, and its potential as a biomarker for cardiovascular diseases. The recombinant protein form of OxLDL facilitates detailed studies exploring its structure-function relationships, interaction with receptors such as LOX-1, and downstream signaling pathways. This research aims to elucidate OxLDL's multifaceted roles in atherosclerosis and cardiovascular pathology, providing insights that could lead to novel therapeutic strategies and diagnostic tools for managing cardiovascular diseases linked to oxidative stress and inflammation. As such, the investigation of OxLDL and its derivatives represents a promising frontier in understanding and combating cardiovascular risk.
