  • Stability Test

The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.

  • Storage & Shelf Life

Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

  • Shipping

In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description

LDP (Lipid-Related Protein) is a family of proteins that play a crucial role in lipid metabolism and cellular signaling. In recent years, the study of LDPs has gained significant attention due to their involvement in various biological processes and diseases, including obesity, diabetes, and cardiovascular disorders. Researchers have identified that LDPs interact with lipids in the cell membrane, influencing signal transduction pathways and contributing to cellular homeostasis. The recombinant expression of LDPs has emerged as a valuable tool for understanding their structure-function relationships and for exploring their potential therapeutic applications. By utilizing techniques such as recombinant DNA technology, scientists can produce LDPs in heterologous systems, enabling detailed study of their biological activities and interactions with other molecules. The development of LDP recombinant proteins also opens avenues for drug discovery and the development of novel therapies targeting metabolic disorders. Overall, LDP research stands at the intersection of molecular biology, biochemistry, and medicine, reflecting its significance in understanding complex metabolic networks and developing new therapeutic strategies.
