Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
PGN (Peptidoglycan) is a crucial component of bacterial cell walls, playing a significant role in maintaining structural integrity and shape. Recent studies have shown that PGN can influence the immune response of host organisms, acting as a signal molecule that triggers innate immune pathways. Research on PGN recombination proteins involves the manipulation of PGN structures to better understand their interactions with immune receptors, such as Toll-like receptors (TLRs). The recombinant forms of PGN can be engineered to study their effects on cytokine production, inflammation, and adaptive immune responses. These studies are vital for developing novel vaccines and therapeutic strategies against bacterial infections. Furthermore, as antibiotic resistance continues to rise, understanding PGN and its role in bacterial physiology might provide new avenues for drug development. The ability to manipulate PGN through recombinant technologies offers potential insights into host-pathogen interactions and could lead to innovative approaches in combating bacterial diseases. Overall, research on PGN recombination proteins promises to enhance our understanding of microbial pathogenesis and the immune response, paving the way for advancements in medical science and microbial therapeutics.
