Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
LRRC6 (Leucine-rich repeat-containing protein 6) is a crucial component of the ciliary structure, playing a significant role in the assembly and function of cilia, which are essential for various cellular processes including signaling pathways, cellular movement, and sensory functions. Mutations in the LRRC6 gene have been associated with several ciliopathies, syndromes characterized by defects in cilia, leading to diverse clinical manifestations such as respiratory problems, kidney dysfunction, and developmental abnormalities. Given the importance of LRRC6 in ciliogenesis and its involvement in disease, researchers have focused on the characterization of recombinant LRRC6 protein to better understand its structure and function. By producing and purifying LRRC6 in a recombinant system, scientists aim to elucidate its interactions with other ciliary proteins and its role in ciliary assembly. This research not only enhances our understanding of the molecular mechanisms underlying cilia-related diseases but also holds potential for developing therapeutic strategies targeting these pathways. Moreover, the study of LRRC6 could contribute to the identification of novel biomarkers for ciliopathies, promoting early diagnosis and intervention. Overall, the investigation of LRRC6 recombinant protein is a critical step toward unraveling the complexities of ciliary biology and its implications in human health.
