  • Stability Test

The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.

  • Storage & Shelf Life

Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

  • Shipping

In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description

NKG7 (Natural Killer Group 7) is a member of the granzyme family of proteins, primarily expressed in natural killer (NK) cells and cytotoxic T lymphocytes. Its role is crucial in the immune response, particularly in mediating cytotoxicity against virus-infected and tumor cells. Recent studies have highlighted the significance of NKG7 in modulating immune responses, revealing its involvement in the regulation of cellular proliferation, apoptosis, and the secretion of inflammatory cytokines. Research has demonstrated that NKG7 is upregulated in various disease contexts, including cancer and viral infections, suggesting its potential as a biomarker for disease progression and therapeutic response. Moreover, understanding the structure and function of NKG7 can provide insights into its mechanisms of action, enabling the development of novel immunotherapeutic strategies. As a recombinantly expressed protein, NKG7 offers opportunities for detailed functional studies and high-throughput screening in drug discovery. Consequently, ongoing research focuses on elucidating the precise roles of NKG7, exploring its interaction with other immune molecules, and leveraging its function in enhancing anti-tumor immunity. This makes NKG7 a promising target for innovative therapeutic approaches in cancer immunotherapy and infectious disease management.
