  • Stability Test

The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.

  • Storage & Shelf Life

Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

  • Shipping

In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description

BCAR3 (Breast Cancer Anti-Estrogen Resistance 3) is a significant protein in the study of breast cancer, particularly in understanding the mechanisms behind anti-estrogen resistance in hormone receptor-positive breast cancers. Research indicates that BCAR3 plays a critical role in mediating cellular responses to estrogen and is linked to the activation of various signaling pathways, including those related to cell survival and proliferation. Its expression levels are often correlated with therapeutic resistance, making it a potential biomarker for predicting treatment outcomes. The recombinant form of BCAR3 has garnered attention as scientists aim to elucidate its functional properties and interactions with other molecules involved in cancer progression. By producing BCAR3 as a recombinant protein, researchers can study its biochemical and biophysical characteristics in controlled laboratory settings. This includes exploring its role in the PI3K/Akt and MAPK signaling pathways, which are pivotal in cell metabolism, growth, and survival. Understanding BCAR3's intricate involvement in these pathways could provide insights into novel therapeutic strategies to overcome resistance in breast cancer treatment. Moreover, as researchers continue to investigate its potential as a therapeutic target, the development of BCAR3-based interventions could lead to improved treatment options for patients facing challenging and resistant forms of breast cancer. Overall, the study of BCAR3 and its recombinant form stands as a crucial area of inquiry in cancer biology, with implications for enhancing the efficacy of existing therapies and developing future treatments.
