Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
The study of SPD (Sperm Protein Disulfide Isomerase) recombinant proteins is rooted in the understanding of their critical roles in male fertility and sperm function. SPD proteins are essential for the proper folding and maturation of sperm proteins, which are crucial for sperm motility, viability, and the fertilization process. Research into SPD has gained traction due to increasing incidences of male infertility linked to molecular and cellular dysfunctions in spermatozoa. Recombinant SPD proteins allow for the exploration of their biochemical properties and mechanisms at a molecular level. By producing these proteins in vitro, scientists can investigate their role in disulfide bond formation, protein interactions, and their impact on sperm physiology. Furthermore, understanding the structure-function relationships of SPD proteins holds potential for developing diagnostic tools and therapeutic strategies for male infertility. Furthermore, SPD research contributes to broader studies in reproductive biology, enabling insights into the evolutionary biology of sperm and potential applications in assisted reproductive technologies. As such, advancements in SPD recombinant protein research are vital for both basic science and clinical applications, potentially alleviating the challenges posed by male reproductive health issues.
