Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
SCNN1B, or Sodium Channel Epithelial 1 Beta Subunit, is a vital component of the epithelial sodium channel (ENaC), which plays a critical role in ion transport and fluid balance in various tissues, particularly in the kidney and respiratory systems. The study of SCNN1B recombinant proteins is crucial for understanding the molecular mechanisms underlying sodium absorption and related physiological processes. Dysfunctions or mutations in SCNN1B can lead to several pathophysiological conditions, including hypertension, pulmonary edema, and genetic disorders such as pseudohypoaldosteronism. By investigating the properties and functions of SCNN1B recombinant proteins, researchers aim to elucidate their role in cellular signaling and ion transport mechanisms, which could pave the way for developing targeted therapies and interventions for associated diseases. Furthermore, recombinant SCNN1B proteins can serve as valuable tools for studying the structure-function relationship of ENaC in vitro, enabling researchers to dissect the contributions of each subunit to channel activity and regulation. Overall, this research holds significant implications for enhancing our understanding of sodium homeostasis and its impact on human health.
