Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
RXRγ (Retinoid X Receptor gamma) is a crucial member of the nuclear receptor superfamily that plays a significant role in various biological processes, including development, metabolism, and cellular differentiation. It serves as a molecular sensor for retinoids and other ligands, regulating gene expression in response to these signals. RXRγ functions predominantly as a heterodimer with other nuclear receptors, amplifying or modulating their signaling pathways. Research on RXRγ has gained momentum due to its implication in metabolic disorders, cancer progression, and neurodegenerative diseases. Its ability to influence lipid metabolism and insulin sensitivity makes it an attractive target for therapeutic interventions in metabolic syndromes. Moreover, mutations or dysregulation of RXRγ have been linked to various pathologies, highlighting the importance of studying its structure and function. Recombinant RXRγ protein studies enable researchers to elucidate the molecular mechanisms underlying its action, explore potential ligands for drug development, and assess the effects of post-translational modifications. By producing and characterizing RXRγ recombinant protein, scientists aim to deepen their understanding of its role in health and disease, paving the way for novel therapeutic strategies that harness its regulatory capabilities. The comprehensive study of RXRγ not only enhances our knowledge of nuclear receptor biology but also opens new avenues for targeted treatments in a range of disorders.
