Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
KIAA0040, a gene located on chromosome 1, has garnered interest due to its potential role in various cellular processes and its implications in human disease. Initially identified through cDNA libraries, KIAA0040 is hypothesized to encode a protein that may be involved in critical biological functions such as cell differentiation, growth, and apoptosis. Its expression levels have been shown to vary in different tissues, suggesting a tissue-specific role, with particular interest in its involvement in cancer biology. Research indicates that KIAA0040 may be linked to tumor progression and cellular response to stress. Furthermore, investigations into its protein structure have revealed domains that suggest possible interactions with other cellular proteins, thereby implicating it in various signaling pathways. The exploration of KIAA0040's recombinant protein has opened avenues for understanding its mechanistic roles and potential as a therapeutic target. Given its involvement in crucial cellular functions, studies on KIAA0040 are critical for uncovering new insights into pathologies, especially in oncology. Thus, advancing research on KIAA0040 not only enhances our understanding of fundamental biological mechanisms but also holds promise for the development of targeted treatments in cancer and other diseases.
