Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
Interleukin-1 receptor antagonist (IL1RN) is a crucial cytokine involved in the regulation of inflammatory processes within the immune system. Its primary function is to inhibit the activity of interleukin-1 (IL-1), a pro-inflammatory cytokine that plays a significant role in various inflammatory diseases, including rheumatoid arthritis, systemic lupus erythematosus, and other autoimmune disorders. Given the central role of IL-1 in mediating inflammation, the therapeutic potential of IL1RN has garnered considerable interest. Recombinant IL1RN proteins have been developed to serve as anti-inflammatory agents, providing a novel approach to treating conditions characterized by excessive inflammatory responses. Studies have demonstrated that administering recombinant IL1RN can lead to reduced inflammation and improved clinical outcomes in diseases associated with IL-1 overactivity. Moreover, genetic variations in the IL1RN gene have been linked to susceptibility to several inflammatory conditions, further highlighting the importance of this protein in immune regulation. Ongoing research aims to explore the efficacy, optimal dosing, and mechanism of action of recombinant IL1RN in various clinical settings, paving the way for innovative therapies that target inflammation at its source. Understanding the nuances of IL1RN's role in modulating immune responses could significantly advance the development of effective treatments for a range of inflammatory diseases, making it a focal point in current biomedical research.
