  • Stability Test

The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.

  • Storage & Shelf Life

Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

  • Shipping

In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description

JAKMIP1 (Janus kinase and microtubule interacting protein 1) is a critical protein involved in the regulation of various cellular processes, particularly in the immune system and signal transduction pathways. Research has demonstrated that JAKMIP1 interacts with Janus kinases (JAKs), which are pivotal in mediating cytokine signaling through the Janus kinase-signal transducer and activator of transcription (JAK-STAT) pathway. Dysregulation of this pathway is associated with several diseases, including autoimmune disorders and cancers. Studies have indicated that JAKMIP1 may play a role in modulating the activity of JAKs, thereby influencing the downstream signaling cascades and cellular responses. Furthermore, JAKMIP1 expression levels are known to vary in different tissues and under various physiological conditions, suggesting its potential involvement in tissue-specific responses and disease mechanisms. Given its significant role in immune responses and signal transduction, JAKMIP1 is emerging as a promising target for therapeutic interventions. Owing to its involvement in critical biological processes, the production of recombinant JAKMIP1 protein has gained attention for both functional studies and potential drug development applications. This research aims to elucidate the exact mechanisms by which JAKMIP1 influences JAK signaling and to explore the therapeutic implications of modulating its activity in disease contexts, highlighting the importance of understanding its functional dynamics in cellular biology.
