Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
Interleukin-1 homolog (IL1h) is a member of the interleukin-1 family of cytokines, known for its significant role in the immune system and inflammatory responses. Despite IL1h's structural similarities to other interleukin-1 family members, its specific biological functions and potential therapeutic applications have been less extensively studied. Recent research has highlighted its involvement in modulating immune responses, making it a candidate for exploration in various disease contexts, such as autoimmune disorders, infections, and cancer. Understanding the mechanisms by which IL1h influences cellular pathways could provide insights into novel therapeutic strategies aimed at regulating inflammation and immune responses. The production of recombinant IL1h protein has enabled researchers to conduct in-depth functional studies and assess its potential in clinical applications. By characterizing IL1h's signaling pathways and interactions with other cytokines, researchers aim to elucidate its role in health and disease, potentially leading to the development of new biomarker tools or targeted therapies. As the field of immunology continues to evolve, the study of IL1h could offer promising avenues for intervention in inflammatory diseases, underscoring the importance of comprehensive research on lesser-known cytokines.
