Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
Ki-67 is a nuclear protein that is closely associated with cell proliferation and is widely used as a biomarker to evaluate cell growth in various types of tissues, particularly in oncology. Discovered in the late 1980s, Ki-67 is present during all active phases of the cell cycle (G1, S, G2, and mitosis) but absent in resting cells (G0 phase). This makes it a valuable indicator for assessing tumor growth and aggressiveness, allowing clinicians and researchers to predict patient prognosis and response to therapy. The development of recombinant Ki-67 protein has facilitated numerous studies aimed at elucidating its functional role in cellular processes. By producing this protein in a controlled laboratory environment, researchers can investigate its interactions with various cellular components and its involvement in the regulation of the cell cycle and gene expression. Furthermore, the recombinant form serves as a tool for the creation of specific antibodies, enhancing the accuracy of immunohistochemical analysis of Ki-67 expression in clinical samples. Ongoing research continues to explore the potential of Ki-67 not only as a marker for malignancy but also as a target for therapeutic intervention, underscoring its relevance in understanding cancer biology and improving patient management.
