Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
HTRA4, a member of the high-temperature requirement A (HTRA) serine protease family, has garnered significant attention in recent years due to its multifaceted roles in various biological processes and its potential implications in human diseases. Initially characterized for its involvement in extracellular matrix remodeling and proteolytic activity, HTRA4 has emerged as a critical player in both normal physiological functions and pathological conditions, including cancer and cardiovascular diseases. Research has shown that HTRA4 regulates key signaling pathways and influences cellular processes such as apoptosis, proliferation, and inflammation. Furthermore, atypical expression levels of HTRA4 have been implicated in tumor progression and metastasis, making it a potential biomarker for cancer diagnostics and a target for therapeutic intervention. The recombinant expression of HTRA4 provides a valuable tool for elucidating its specific functions and mechanisms of action. As the understanding of HTRA4's role in health and disease continues to deepen, the development of recombinant HTRA4 protein is essential for conducting detailed studies, including its interactions with substrates and inhibitors. This research could pave the way for novel therapeutic strategies aimed at modulating HTRA4 activity in various pathological contexts, ultimately contributing to improved disease management and patient outcomes.
