Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
KRT6A, or Keratin 6A, is a type of intermediate filament protein predominantly expressed in the epithelial tissues, particularly in response to stress or injury. It belongs to the keratin family, which plays a crucial role in maintaining the structural integrity and protective functions of epithelial cells. The study of recombinant KRT6A protein has gained significant attention due to its potential implications in various pathological conditions, including wound healing, skin disorders, and cancers. Research has shown that KRT6A is upregulated in conditions such as psoriasis and other inflammatory skin diseases, indicating its role as a marker for epithelial cell stress and inflammation. Furthermore, understanding the molecular mechanisms involving KRT6A may elucidate new therapeutic targets for treating skin-related ailments. The production of recombinant KRT6A allows researchers to investigate its biological functions, interactions with other cellular proteins, and the pathways regulating its expression. By characterizing recombinant KRT6A, scientists aim to uncover its role in skin physiology and pathology, paving the way for the development of targeted therapies and diagnostic tools.
