Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
GPRC5B, a member of the G protein-coupled receptor family, has garnered significant attention in recent years due to its potential roles in various physiological processes and its implications in diseases. Originally identified as a receptor linked to the calcium-sensing pathway, GPRC5B's expression has been associated with several tissues, notably the brain, lung, and gastrointestinal tract. Research has indicated that GPRC5B may play a crucial role in modulating cell signaling pathways, contributing to cellular functions such as proliferation, differentiation, and apoptosis. Its involvement in the regulation of inflammatory responses and potential links to cancer progression underscore the importance of understanding its structure and function. The recombinant expression of GPRC5B protein facilitates detailed biochemical studies and the exploration of its signaling mechanisms. Additionally, studying its interactions with ligands and other cellular proteins can unveil novel therapeutic targets for conditions where GPRC5B is implicated. Given the receptor’s multifaceted roles, elucidating its function through recombinant protein studies holds promise for advancing our understanding of GPRC5B in health and disease, paving the way for innovative approaches to drug development and treatment strategies.
