稳定性测试
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
保存条件 & 期限
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
运输条件
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
PDE12 (phosphodiesterase 12) is a member of the phosphodiesterase family, which plays a crucial role in the regulation of intracellular signaling pathways by modulating cyclic nucleotide levels. This enzyme is significant for its ability to hydrolyze both cAMP and cGMP, two vital second messengers in various biological processes, including cell proliferation, differentiation, and apoptosis. Recent studies have implicated PDE12 in various pathological conditions, such as cancer, neurodegenerative diseases, and inflammatory disorders, highlighting its potential as a therapeutic target. The reconstitution of PDE12 into a functional protein provides a valuable tool for understanding its biochemical properties and regulatory mechanisms. Research involving the recombinant expression of PDE12 not only aids in elucidating its role in cellular signaling but also paves the way for the development of specific inhibitors that could serve as novel therapeutics. Furthermore, the investigation of PDE12's interactions with other proteins and its contribution to signal transduction pathways can enhance our knowledge of how dysregulation of cyclic nucleotide metabolism contributes to disease states, thereby opening new avenues for targeted pharmacological interventions. Overall, the study of PDE12 and its recombinant protein forms is critical for advancing our understanding of its biological functions and therapeutic implications in health and disease.
