Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
KLRD1, also known as CD94, is a member of the C-type lectin-like receptor family and plays a key role in the immune system, particularly in the regulation of natural killer (NK) cell and NKG2A receptor activity. Its primary function involves the recognition of HLA-E molecules on target cells, leading to the modulation of cellular cytotoxicity and immune responses. The research surrounding KLRD1 recombinant protein has gained significant attention due to its potential implications in cancer immunotherapy and autoimmune diseases. By studying the structure and function of KLRD1, researchers aim to better understand its interactions with other immune receptors and its impact on NK cell activity. Recombinant KLRD1 can be utilized to create novel therapeutic strategies, enhancing the effectiveness of immune checkpoint inhibitors and improving outcomes for patients with malignancies. Furthermore, KLRD1's role in mediating cell-cell interactions offers insights into the mechanisms underlying tumor immunology and the development of tolerance in autoimmune scenarios. Overall, the investigation of KLRD1 and its recombinant forms may pave the way for innovative treatments that harness the body's immune system to combat various diseases.
