Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
CTBP1 (C-Terminal Binding Protein 1) is a transcriptional co-repressor involved in various cellular processes, including cell differentiation, proliferation, and apoptosis. Its regulation is crucial for normal development and function, as dysregulation of CTBP1 has been implicated in several diseases, including cancer. CTBP1 interacts with a wide range of transcription factors and is known to play a significant role in the regulation of genes involved in cellular signaling pathways. The investigation of CTBP1 has increased due to its potential as a therapeutic target and biomarker, especially in oncological research. Recombinant CTBP1 protein is often utilized in studies to elucidate its functional mechanisms, interactions, and regulatory roles in different biological contexts. By producing and characterizing recombinant CTBP1, researchers aim to better understand its structure-function relationship and the molecular pathways it influences. This knowledge can lead to the development of innovative strategies for manipulating CTBP1 activity in disease contexts, highlighting its significance in biomedical research.
