Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
CX3CR1 is a G protein-coupled receptor that plays a crucial role in immune responses and is involved in the migration of immune cells to sites of inflammation. Its ligand, fractalkine (CX3CL1), exists in both a membrane-bound form and a soluble form, facilitating cell-cell communication during immune activation. Research on CX3CR1 has gained significance due to its implications in various diseases, including cardiovascular diseases, neurodegenerative disorders, and cancer. Understanding the structure and function of CX3CR1 is vital for developing therapeutic strategies targeting immune cell trafficking. Recombinant CX3CR1 protein studies enable scientists to investigate its signaling pathways and interactions with ligands in a controlled environment, shedding light on its role in shaping immune responses. Furthermore, research into CX3CR1's expression patterns and functional variants can reveal its involvement in disease susceptibility, offering potential biomarkers for early detection or treatment response monitoring. Overall, CX3CR1 represents a promising target for innovative therapeutic interventions in immune-related conditions.
