Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
The study of DSC3, a member of the desmocollin family, is crucial for understanding cell adhesion and tissue integrity in various biological contexts, especially in epithelial tissues. DSC3 is a key component of desmosomes, which are specialized junctions that provide mechanical strength to tissues through intercellular adhesion. Alterations in DSC3 expression or function have been implicated in several pathologies, including skin diseases, cancer, and cardiac disorders. Research has shown that DSC3 plays a significant role in maintaining the structural integrity of tissues, influencing cell signaling pathways, and regulating cellular responses to stress. The investigation of DSC3 as a recombinant protein has opened avenues for exploring its specific interactions and functionalities in vitro, thereby enhancing our understanding of its mechanistic roles in cellular adhesion processes. Studies focusing on the recombination and characterization of DSC3 allow for insights into how its dysfunction can lead to disease, paving the way for potential therapeutic strategies that target these pathways. This research not only contributes to fundamental biology but also provides implications for clinical applications, potentially leading to novel approaches in the treatment of conditions linked to desmosomal dysfunctions. Overall, the investigation of DSC3 and its recombinant forms provides significant insights into the intricate network of cell adhesion mechanisms essential for maintaining healthy tissue architecture and function.
