Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
GCNF (Germ Cell Nuclear Factor) is a transcription factor crucial for germ cell development and reproductive biology, playing a significant role in the regulation of genes essential for gametogenesis. Its expression is tightly regulated during embryonic development and is localized primarily in the nucleus of germ cells, indicating its potential involvement in maintaining pluripotency and promoting the differentiation of these cells into mature gametes. Recent studies have highlighted GCNF's pivotal role in preventing premature differentiation of germ cells, ensuring proper embryonic development and fertility. The understanding of GCNF's functions has expanded with advancements in molecular biology techniques, leading to a keen interest in exploring its interactions with other regulatory proteins and its downstream targets. Furthermore, the recombinant expression of GCNF protein has become a focal point for studying its biochemical properties and functional mechanisms. Investigating GCNF at the protein level not only elucidates its specific roles in germ cell lineage but also provides insights into potential therapeutic applications, particularly in reproductive medicine and regenerative biology. As research continues, the characterization of GCNF as a recombinant protein will pave the way for innovative strategies to manipulate germ cell development, which may ultimately lead to novel treatments for infertility and other reproductive disorders.
