Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
Grb7 (Growth factor receptor-bound protein 7) is a crucial adapter protein that plays a significant role in various cellular processes, including cell proliferation, migration, and survival, primarily through its interactions with receptor tyrosine kinases. As a member of the Grb7 family, Grb7 has been implicated in cancer progression, particularly in breast and ovarian cancers, where it is often overexpressed. The understanding of Grb7's function and its downstream signaling pathways is essential for developing targeted therapies against cancers that exhibit Grb7 dysregulation. Due to its central role in oncogenic signaling, researchers have focused on characterizing recombinant Grb7 proteins to study their biochemical properties, binding affinities, and interactions with other signaling molecules. The production of recombinant Grb7 enables detailed in vitro and in vivo studies, facilitating the identification of potential drug targets and therapeutic strategies. Furthermore, exploring the molecular mechanisms through which Grb7 mediates its effects on cell signaling can provide insights into the complexity of tumor biology. As investigations into Grb7 continue, the potential to enhance treatment modalities for cancer patients by targeting Grb7-related pathways highlights the importance of ongoing research in this area, paving the way for novel therapeutic interventions and improved clinical outcomes.
