  • Stability Test

The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.

  • Storage & Shelf Life

Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

  • Shipping

In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description

The study of CHGA (chromogranin A) recombinant protein has gained significant attention due to its critical role in neuroendocrine physiology and pathology. CHGA is a soluble protein primarily stored in chromaffin granules of adrenal medulla cells and neuroendocrine cells throughout the body. It functions as a precursor for bioactive peptides and hormones, influencing various physiological processes, including stress response, neurotransmission, and the regulation of blood pressure. Aberrant levels of CHGA have been implicated in several diseases, including neuroendocrine tumors and cardiovascular disorders, making it a valuable biomarker for clinical diagnostics. The advent of recombinant DNA technology has enabled the production of CHGA as a recombinant protein, facilitating research into its structure-function relationships, post-translational modifications, and interactions with other biomolecules. This research not only enhances the understanding of CHGA's biological significance but also paves the way for exploring therapeutic applications, such as developing targeted treatments for CHGA-related conditions. Additionally, utilizing recombinant CHGA in experimental settings provides insights into its role in cellular signaling pathways and contributes to identifying novel therapeutic targets. Overall, the investigation of CHGA recombinant protein is crucial for elucidating its multifaceted roles in health and disease, ultimately informing the development of innovative diagnostic and therapeutic strategies.
