Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
CHCHD3, a member of the conserved CHCHD (Coiled-Coil-Helix-Coiled-Coil-Helix Domain) protein family, has garnered attention due to its significant role in mitochondrial function and cellular stress responses. This protein is known to be involved in the regulation of oxidative stress, apoptosis, and overall metabolic processes within cells. Studies have indicated that CHCHD3 plays a crucial role in maintaining mitochondrial integrity and respiration by participating in the import of protein precursors into mitochondria and modulating reactive oxygen species (ROS) levels. Abnormalities in CHCHD3 expression or function have been implicated in various diseases, including neurodegenerative disorders and certain cancers. As a result, recombinant CHCHD3 proteins have become an area of focus for researchers aiming to elucidate its precise biological functions, interactions with other mitochondrial proteins, and potential therapeutic applications. The production of recombinant CHCHD3 enables detailed in vitro studies that can reveal insights into its mechanisms of action, influence on mitochondrial dynamics, and contributions to the cellular stress response. Understanding CHCHD3's role at the molecular level could provide new opportunities for developing targeted interventions in conditions linked to mitochondrial dysfunction.
