  • Stability Test

The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.

  • Storage & Shelf Life

Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

  • Shipping

In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description

CD70 is a member of the tumor necrosis factor (TNF) superfamily, primarily expressed on activated T cells and dendritic cells. Its primary role is to bind to CD27, a receptor found on T cells, promoting T-cell activation, proliferation, and survival. This interaction is crucial in regulating immune responses, making CD70 a significant focus in immunological research, particularly in cancer and infectious diseases. Elevated levels of CD70 are often associated with various tumors, suggesting that it can contribute to immune evasion by cancer cells. As a result, researchers have been exploring the therapeutic potential of targeting CD70, either by blocking its interaction with CD27 or by using CD70 as a biomarker for immunotherapy approaches. The development of recombinant CD70 proteins has enabled scientists to investigate their structural and functional properties in detail, offering insights into their potential roles in immune modulation. These studies aim to elucidate the mechanisms by which CD70 influences T-cell behavior, paving the way for innovative treatments that harness the immune system more effectively against malignancies and chronic infections. Overall, the study of CD70 recombinant proteins holds promise for advancing our understanding of T-cell regulation and enhancing the efficacy of immunotherapeutic strategies.
