简介
IFN-alpha 1 (IFNA1), belongs to type I interferon family, is produced by macrophages with antiviral activities[1]. IFN-alpha 1 involves in the activation of JAK1 and TYK2 pathway[4], exerts function by inhibiting viral replication as well as modulating immune response[3]. IFN-alpha 1/IFNA13 Protein, Human (HEK293, His) is produced in HEK293 cells with a C-Terminal His-tag.

Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
Interferon-alpha 1 (IFN-alpha 1), also known as IFNA13, is a type I interferon that plays a crucial role in the immune response against viral infections and malignancies. The research on IFN-alpha 1 has gained significant attention due to its potential therapeutic applications in treating various diseases, including viral hepatitis, multiple sclerosis, and certain types of cancer. IFNA13 is produced predominantly by leukocytes and is involved in the modulation of the immune system by enhancing the antiviral response, promoting apoptosis in infected cells, and activating natural killer (NK) cells. The recombinant form of IFN-alpha 1, generated through recombinant DNA technology, offers the advantage of high purity and enhanced biological activity compared to its natural counterparts. Recent studies have focused on optimizing the production and purification processes for this protein, as well as investigating its efficacy and safety profiles in clinical settings. Additionally, ongoing research aims to understand the molecular mechanisms underlying its action and to improve its therapeutic potential through innovative delivery systems and combination therapies. Overall, IFN-alpha 1 represents a promising avenue in the field of immunotherapy, with the potential to revolutionize the treatment landscape for viral infections and cancer.
