简介
CXCL2, also called Gro-beta or MIP-2, is a pro-inflammatory cytokine with chemotactic activities on neutrophils. CXCL2 is produced by activated monocytes and neutrophils and expressed at sites of inflammation. CXCL2 is involved in many immune responses including wound healing, cancer metastasis, and angiogenesis[1][2]. MIP-2/CXCL2 Protein, Mouse (His-SUMO) is produced in E. coli with a N-Terminal His-tag and a N-Terminal SUMO-tag. It consists of 73 amino acids (A28-N100).

稳定性测试
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.

保存条件 & 期限
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

运输条件
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
MIP-2 (Macrophage Inflammatory Protein-2), also known as CXCL2, is a chemokine primarily produced by various cell types, including macrophages and epithelial cells, in response to inflammatory stimuli. It plays a crucial role in the recruitment and activation of neutrophils during the inflammatory response, making it pivotal in both innate immunity and the pathogenesis of various diseases. Elevated levels of MIP-2/CXCL2 have been associated with several inflammatory conditions, including autoimmune diseases, cancer, and infectious diseases. Research into recombinant MIP-2/CXCL2 proteins has gained significant interest for their potential therapeutic applications and as valuable tools for understanding the underlying mechanisms of inflammation. Studies have shown that modulation of MIP-2 levels can influence immune cell behavior and may have implications for developing treatments for inflammatory diseases. Furthermore, the production of recombinant MIP-2/CXCL2 allows for detailed investigations into its structure-function relationships and the signaling pathways involved in its activity. This knowledge is essential for designing targeted therapies that could mitigate excessive inflammation while preserving necessary immune responses. Overall, the study of MIP-2/CXCL2 and its recombinant forms holds promise for advancing our understanding of inflammation and its associated pathological processes.
