Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
ADCY8 (Adenylate Cyclase 8) is an important enzyme involved in the synthesis of cyclic AMP (cAMP), a critical secondary messenger in various cellular signaling pathways. Research on ADCY8 has garnered attention due to its pivotal role in regulating physiological processes such as neuronal signaling, cardiac function, and endocrine responses. Dysregulation of ADCY8 has been implicated in several diseases, including heart failure, depression, and various types of cancer. The study of recombinant ADCY8 proteins, generated through genetic engineering techniques, has enabled researchers to explore the enzyme’s structure-function relationship, enzyme kinetics, and interaction with other signaling molecules. These recombinant proteins serve as essential tools for elucidating the biochemical pathways mediated by ADCY8 and contribute to the development of potential therapeutic strategies targeting cAMP signaling. Furthermore, understanding the modulation of ADCY8 activity may provide insights into novel drug design, particularly for conditions where cAMP-mediated signaling is disrupted. As such, the characterization and functional analysis of ADCY8 recombinant proteins is a vital area of investigation in biochemistry and pharmacology.
