Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
BCCIP (BRCA2 and CDKN1A-Interacting Protein) is a protein that has garnered significant interest due to its role in cellular processes such as DNA repair, cell cycle regulation, and maintenance of genomic integrity. Originally identified as a BRCA2-interacting partner, BCCIP has been implicated in the DNA damage response, where it aids in the repair of double-strand breaks through homologous recombination. Additionally, BCCIP interacts with p21, a cyclin-dependent kinase inhibitor, linking DNA repair mechanisms with cell cycle regulation. Aberrations in BCCIP expression or function have been associated with various cancers, highlighting its potential as a biomarker and therapeutic target. Research has shown that BCCIP can influence cellular responses to stress and is involved in apoptosis and senescence. Given the increasing understanding of the molecular pathways involved in cancer, BCCIP's multifaceted roles make it an attractive candidate for further investigation. By studying the biochemical properties and functional characterizations of BCCIP, researchers aim to elucidate its contributions to tumorigenesis and explore its potential in cancer therapy. The development of recombinant BCCIP protein offers insights into its structure-function relationships and provides a platform for future studies aimed at developing targeted interventions for cancer treatment.
