Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
ATF3 (Activating Transcription Factor 3) is a member of the ATF/CREB family of transcription factors that plays a crucial role in cellular stress responses and adaptation. Its expression is typically low under normal conditions but is induced in various stress situations, such as oxidative stress, hypoxia, and exposure to inflammatory cytokines. Research has demonstrated that ATF3 is implicated in numerous physiological and pathological processes, including the regulation of apoptosis, cellular differentiation, and immune responses. The protein's ability to bind to specific DNA sequences allows it to modulate the transcription of target genes, influencing cellular fate and function. Given its significant role in stress responses, ATF3 has been identified as a potential biomarker and therapeutic target in various diseases, particularly in cancer and neurodegenerative disorders. The recombinant protein form of ATF3 provides a valuable tool for in-depth studies of its biochemical properties and interactions. Characterizing this protein enhances the understanding of its regulatory mechanisms and aids in exploring its potential applications in therapeutic strategies. Thus, ongoing studies focus on further elucidating the functional roles of ATF3, its underlying signaling pathways, and its implications in health and disease.
