Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
BMP2K, or Bone Morphogenetic Protein 2 Kinase, is a serine/threonine kinase that plays a crucial role in the BMP signaling pathway, which is significant for bone formation, tissue regeneration, and various cellular processes, including apoptosis and cell proliferation. Research into BMP2K has garnered increasing interest due to its potential therapeutic applications in bone diseases, such as osteoporosis and fractures, where enhanced osteogenesis is desired. Additionally, BMP2K is implicated in the regulation of multiple cellular pathways, influencing not only osteoblast and chondrocyte differentiation but also cellular responses to injury. The recombinant production of BMP2K has facilitated its functional analysis and has allowed scientists to investigate its kinase activity, downstream signaling targets, and interactions with other proteins involved in the BMP pathway. By elucidating the mechanisms of BMP2K activity and its regulatory effects on gene expression and cell differentiation, researchers aim to develop novel biomolecular therapies that harness its properties to promote bone healing and improve regenerative medicine strategies. Thus, BMP2K represents a promising target for further research that could lead to innovative approaches in treating skeletal disorders and enhancing tissue repair.
