简介
The FGFR-2 α IIIc protein is a tyrosine protein kinase receptor for fibroblast growth factor and is critical for embryonic development, regulating proliferation, differentiation, and apoptosis. Its importance is evident in embryonic patterning, trophoblast function, limb bud development, lung morphogenesis, osteogenesis, and skin development. FGFR-2 beta (IIIc) Protein, Human (Biotinylated, HEK293, His-Avi) is the recombinant human-derived FGFR-2 beta IIIc protein, expressed by HEK293 , with C-Avi, C-His labeled tag.

Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
Fibroblast growth factor receptor 2 (FGFR-2) is a crucial member of the fibroblast growth factor receptor family, playing significant roles in various physiological processes, including cell proliferation, differentiation, and survival. Dysregulation of FGFR-2 signaling has been implicated in several cancers, particularly breast and gastric cancers, making it a target of interest for therapeutic interventions. As a result, the development of recombinant FGFR-2 proteins has gained importance in the field of biomedical research. These recombinant proteins serve as essential tools for studying the receptor's structure and function, particularly in understanding the mechanisms of ligand-receptor interactions and downstream signaling pathways. Additionally, FGFR-2 recombinant proteins are valuable in drug discovery efforts, helping to facilitate the development of FGFR-targeted therapies such as small molecule inhibitors and monoclonal antibodies. Research on FGFR-2 has broadened to include its potential implications in regenerative medicine and the treatment of congenital disorders linked to FGFR mutations. Overall, the study of FGFR-2 recombinant proteins not only enhances our understanding of its biological significance but also contributes to the advancement of novel therapeutic strategies aimed at combating diseases associated with FGFR-2 dysregulation.
