Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
ACTA2, or alpha-actin 2, is a key component of smooth muscle contractile apparatus and plays a critical role in various physiological and pathological processes, including vascular development and regulation, smooth muscle contraction, and tissue homeostasis. Abnormalities in ACTA2 expression and function have been linked to a range of cardiovascular diseases and congenital disorders, such as aortopathy and familial thoracic aortic aneurysm syndromes. In recent years, the study of ACTA2 recombinant proteins has gained significant attention, as these proteins offer valuable insights into the molecular mechanisms governing smooth muscle function and pathologies. By producing recombinant ACTA2, researchers can investigate its structural properties, interactions with other proteins, and role in cellular mechanics in vitro. This approach also facilitates the development of potential therapeutic strategies aimed at correcting ACTA2-related dysfunctions. The ability to manipulate ACTA2 protein expression and activity opens new avenues for understanding its contributions to smooth muscle biology and disease, ultimately leading to improved treatments for conditions associated with abnormal smooth muscle function and vascular integrity.
