Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
IRS3 (insulin receptor substrate 3) is a key adapter protein involved in insulin signaling and metabolic regulation. Its role in mediating the effects of insulin on glucose uptake, lipid metabolism, and cell growth has garnered significant interest in the field of diabetes and obesity research. IRS3 exists as a member of the IRS family, which also includes IRS1 and IRS2, and its expression and functional dynamics are closely linked to various metabolic disorders. Recent studies have indicated that IRS3 may influence insulin sensitivity and resistance, making it a potential target for therapeutic interventions aimed at treating type 2 diabetes and related conditions. Furthermore, the characterization of IRS3 as a recombinant protein has facilitated investigations into its structure-function relationships, signaling pathways, and interactions with other molecules involved in metabolic networks. Understanding IRS3's mechanisms may provide insights for developing novel strategies to enhance insulin action and improve metabolic homeostasis, paving the way for innovative treatments directly targeting the underlying causes of insulin resistance. As a result, IRS3 recombinant protein research is critical for elucidating the complexities of insulin signaling and metabolic health, contributing to both basic science and clinical applications in endocrinology and metabolic disease management.
