Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
The study of the mcjB recombinant protein has emerged as a significant field in microbiology and biotechnology due to its pivotal role in bacterial pathogenesis and survival. mcjB, part of the mcj operon, encodes a protein that is involved in various cellular processes, including metabolism and the response to environmental stressors in bacteria. Research has shown that mcjB contributes to the virulence of certain pathogenic strains, making it a potential target for therapeutic interventions. Understanding the structure and function of mcjB is critical for developing new strategies to combat bacterial infections. The recombinant production of mcjB allows researchers to investigate its biochemical properties, interactions with other cellular components, and regulatory mechanisms under different conditions. Furthermore, the insights gained from studying mcjB can aid in the design of novel antibiotics or vaccine candidates. As antibiotic resistance continues to rise, the need for innovative approaches to mitigate bacterial diseases underscores the importance of mcjB research, positioning it as a promising candidate for future studies in microbial pathogenesis and drug development.
