Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
PEX3 (Peroxisomal biogenesis factor 3) is a crucial protein involved in the formation and maintenance of peroxisomes, which are essential organelles in eukaryotic cells responsible for various metabolic functions, including fatty acid oxidation and the detoxification of reactive oxygen species. The correct functioning of PEX3 is vital for cellular homeostasis, as defects in peroxisome biogenesis can lead to serious disorders known as peroxisome biogenesis disorders (PBDs), such as Zellweger syndrome. Research on PEX3 recombinant protein is pivotal for understanding the molecular mechanisms underlying peroxisome formation and function. Through the characterization and analysis of this protein, scientists aim to elucidate its role in the import of peroxisomal matrix proteins and membrane assembly, contributing to the overall understanding of peroxisome-related metabolic pathways. Furthermore, studying PEX3 and its interactions with other peroxins provides insights into potential therapeutic strategies for managing PBDs and other related metabolic diseases. The development of recombinant PEX3 facilitates high-throughput screening and the exploration of its functional dynamics, making it a significant focus in both cell biology and clinical research.
