Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
CCDC6 (Coiled-Coil Domain Containing 6) is a gene that encodes a protein involved in various cellular processes, including cell growth and differentiation. It has garnered attention in the context of cancer research, particularly due to its role in tumorigenesis and its association with oncogenic pathways. CCDC6 is part of the TGF-beta signaling pathway, which is crucial for regulating cellular responses to growth factors and maintaining tissue homeostasis. Mutations and alterations in the expression of CCDC6 have been linked to several malignancies, including thyroid cancer, where it is often co-mutated with the RET proto-oncogene. The study of CCDC6 recombinant protein is essential for understanding its functional mechanisms in both normal physiology and pathological conditions. By producing and characterizing the recombinant CCDC6 protein, researchers can investigate its structural properties, interactions with other proteins, and its role in cancer progression. This research holds potential for developing targeted therapies and diagnostic tools, as understanding the molecular underpinnings of CCDC6 can lead to insights into disease mechanisms and offer new avenues for treatment strategies. Therefore, CCDC6 serves as a promising target for further exploration in the field of molecular biology and oncology, contributing to the broader understanding of cancer development and potential therapeutics.
