The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.

  • 保存条件 & 期限

Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

  • 运输条件

In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description

FGF-13 (Fibroblast Growth Factor 13) is a member of the fibroblast growth factor family that plays a critical role in various biological processes, including cell growth, development, and differentiation. Research on FGF-13 has gained significant attention due to its involvement in the regulation of cardiac function, neuronal signaling, and potential roles in cancer progression. Unlike other fibroblast growth factors, FGF-13 is noted for its unique interaction with intracellular signaling pathways, particularly in cardiac myocytes, where it modulates calcium signaling and contributes to the regulation of cardiac contractility. In the field of neurobiology, FGF-13 has been implicated in synaptic plasticity and memory function, suggesting its relevance in neurodevelopmental disorders. Moreover, its aberrant expression has been associated with various malignancies, indicating its potential as a biomarker or therapeutic target. The recombinant production of FGF-13 facilitates in-depth studies of its structure, function, and therapeutic potential. By utilizing advanced biotechnology techniques, researchers aim to elucidate the mechanisms underlying FGF-13's diverse roles, paving the way for novel treatment strategies for heart diseases, neurological disorders, and cancers. Overall, the investigation of recombinant FGF-13 offers valuable insights into its biological significance and therapeutic applications.
