  • Stability Test

The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.

  • Storage & Shelf Life

Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

  • Shipping

In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description

MPIF-1 (Macrophage Proliferation-Inducing Factor 1), also known as CCL23 (Chemokine C-C Motif Ligand 23), is a member of the CC chemokine family, which plays a critical role in immune system regulation and inflammatory responses. This protein is primarily expressed in macrophages and has been shown to be involved in the recruitment and activation of leukocytes, particularly in response to inflammation and injury. Research into MPIF-1/CCL23 has gained attention due to its potential implications in various pathological conditions, including cancer, autoimmune diseases, and chronic inflammatory disorders. Studies have indicated that elevated levels of CCL23 correlate with disease progression in certain cancers, suggesting its role as a potential biomarker for diagnosis or prognosis. Furthermore, the modulation of MPIF-1/CCL23 signaling pathways might offer novel therapeutic strategies for managing inflammatory conditions. The development of recombinant forms of this protein has facilitated detailed investigations into its biological functions, receptor interactions, and the mechanisms by which it influences immune cell behavior. Understanding the complex roles of MPIF-1/CCL23 in health and disease could lead to significant advancements in immunotherapy and the treatment of inflammatory diseases.
