Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
Aicda, or activation-induced cytidine deaminase, is a critical enzyme involved in the process of somatic hypermutation and class switch recombination in B cells, making it essential for the adaptive immune response. Its role in the mutagenesis of the immunoglobulin genes allows for the generation of high-affinity antibodies, which are pivotal for effective immune protection against pathogens. The study of Aicda-recombinant proteins has gained significance in recent years due to their potential applications in immunotherapy and vaccine development. Understanding Aicda's structure and function at a molecular level can provide insights into the mechanisms underlying antibody diversity and the regulation of immune responses. Furthermore, aberrations in Aicda activity are linked to several immunological disorders, including certain cancers, making the enzyme a target for therapeutic intervention. Research in this area involves the expression and purification of Aicda proteins to investigate their biochemical properties, interaction with other cellular molecules, and their regulatory mechanisms. Such studies not only enhance our comprehension of immune system functioning but also aim to develop innovative strategies for treating diseases associated with dysfunctional immune responses.
