简介
Nectin-2/CD112 protein has dual roles in T-cell signaling: as a costimulator with CD226, promoting proliferation and cytokine production, and as a coinhibitor with PVRIG, inhibiting proliferation. It also acts as a cell adhesion protein and a receptor for certain viruses. Nectin-2/CD112 Protein, Human (HEK293) is the recombinant human-derived Nectin-2/CD112 protein, expressed by HEK293 , with tag free.

Biological Activity
1.Measured by its binding ability in a functional ELISA. Immobilized Human CD112 at 0.5 μg/mL (100 μL/well) can bind Biotinylated Human DNAM-1. The ED50 for this effect is 0.6317 μg/mL, corresponding to a specific activity is 1.58×103 Unit/mg. 2.Immobilized Human Nectin-2, No Tag at 1 μg/mL (100 μl/well) on the plate. Dose response curve for Human PVRIG, mFc Tag with the ECsub>50 of ≤0.19 μg/mL determined by ELISA. Measured by its binding ability in a functional ELISA. Immobilized Human CD112 at 0.5 μg/mL (100 μL/well) can bind Biotinylated Human DNAM-1. The ED50 for this effect is 0.6317 μg/mL, corresponding to a specific activity is 1.58×103 Unit/mg.

Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
Nectin-2, also known as CD112, is a member of the Nectin family of immunoglobulin-like cell adhesion molecules that play a crucial role in neuronal development and immune responses. As a ligand for the immune receptor DNAM-1 and associated with the activation of natural killer (NK) cells and CD8+ T cells, Nectin-2 facilitates not only cellular adhesion but also the modulation of immune responses against tumors and infections. Recent studies have highlighted its significance in the tumor microenvironment, where it can influence tumor progression and immune evasion. The recombinant production of Nectin-2/CD112 protein has garnered interest due to its potential applications in immunotherapy, especially in enhancing anti-tumor immunity. By creating an immunogenic environment, Nectin-2 holds promise as a therapeutic target for various malignancies. Moreover, understanding its structure and functional dynamics could lead to the development of novel immune modulators. As researchers explore the applications of Nectin-2 in cancer therapy, its interaction with immune cells offers valuable insights into designing strategies for improving immune checkpoint blockade and combination therapies. Thus, the study and production of recombinant Nectin-2/CD112 proteins are pivotal in advancing cancer immunotherapy and elucidating the intricate interplay between tumor cells and the immune system.
